The common definition says all the people born or living at the same time or of approximately the same age

A scientific definition says a group of genetically related organism constituting a single step in the line of descent.

Socially a generation is defined as people of the same age, attributes, race, kind, breed, family or stock.

The scripture shows us different kinds of generations, they are;

• Crooked Generation (Deu_32:5 )
• Adulterous Generation (Mathews 12:39)
• Evil Generation (Mathews 16:4)
• Perverse Generation (Deu_32:5 )
• Generation of vipers (Matt 23:33)
• Untoward Generation. (Acts 2:40)
• Stubborn and rebellious generation (Psalm 78:8)
• Righteous Generation (Psalm 14:5)
• Chosen Generation (1Peter 2:9)

Even today in the world there are many more generations more diverse and more sophisticated.

There are generations of business men and women, professionals, technologist, leaders, entrepreneurs, musicians, sports men and women, and more. In all generations of mankind on earth only one generation stands out, only one generation is acceptable to God; only one generation is of value, of praiseworthy and adorable to God. Only one generation stands in commendation before God. Only one generation is justified and glorified before God. That generation is the Chosen Generation.

The Chosen Generation is the generation of all human beings and mankind who have received the salvation and regeneration made available on the cross of Calvary by our Lord Christ. It is the generation of those that are justified, sanctified and made righteous by the blood of the lamb, Lord Jesus Christ.

The Chosen Generation is the generation of the Righteous. It is the generation of worshippers, praisers, givers, sons of God, young people on fire for Jesus, men and women who walk in the glory and goodness of God.

The Lord declares Rev_3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

There is a call out there, God is calling every one, young and old to join his generation, the Chosen Generation.Rev_17:14   ….. and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful
